Utilizing superconducting technology in fault current limiters for power grid applications is a practical solution to achieve more modern and efficient system. This due their low-loss profile, high efficiency, ability transmit about 5x the same footprint compared conventional counterparts. In addition, integration of renewable energy resources into grids makes use fast circuit breakers essential. However, Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV) mechanical stays concern. paper studies TRV breaker during condition. Then effect solid-state series reactor (SSSR) on investigated using an analytical model, simulation studies, experimental testing. The results prove that SSSR significantly diminishes offers effective grids.
